Starting with the collection of foundational language for songwriting, they will explore literary and musical approaches to understand the fundamental principles of writing lyrics. By examining what makes a good lyric and engaging in activities such as re-writing existing lyrics in their own style, they will deepen their understanding of syllables and song lyrics.

This is an advanced class focused on learning songwriting techniques suitable for demos. Students will understand the concept of album production for different agencies and artists, analyzing worldviews and stories to identify the nuances of songwriting that fit a demo. Additionally, they will deeply study word choice methods that align with the vocal's pronunciation structure.

Students will have the opportunity to learn from various lyricists and explore different styles, gaining insight into the specific processes of songwriting and receiving valuable tips. In addition, they will experience real studio work by engaging in processes such as vocal directing and lyric correction, closely linked to the songwriting process. Through demo opportunities provided by SM Entertainment and other agencies, students will have a chance to debut as lyricists.

This class is offered to students who have completed the BASIC, ADVANCED, and PRO courses in lyric writing. Graduates of the SMU lyric writing program are selected through a separate process and recommended as exclusive lyricists for KMR. Additionally, they are given opportunities to work on demo projects provided by SM Entertainment and other major agencies.
